Roberts is gutsy to beat gusts in Lottbridge's last golf contest
Not everyone managed to finish the full 18 holes but those that did returned some reasonable scores.
Nearest the pins were hard to achieve in the windy weather and nobody managed to hit the sixth green in one.

Hide AdNearest the pin on the second was Tim Capon and on the ninth it was Mark Inman. Nearest the pin in two on the first went to Martin Healy.
Overall winner on the day went to Dave Roberts with a nett 73 on countback from Malcolm Crowhurst.
The win also confirmed Dave Roberts as the overall Silver Grand Prix winner for 2020 with Jim Woolley runner-up.
Mark Fergusson won the bronze division, with Derek West runner up.

Hide AdAlso presented was the summer singles trophy, which was won by Tom Dissington beating Dennis Green in the final.
Sadly the medal was the last competition of the year because of the pandemic and the new sporting shutdown.
Hopefully golf can resume in dome form in December but players will have to wait and see.
Perhaps golfers can use the downtime to get to grips with the new handicap system...?
