Hastings athletes shine at English virtual road relay event
A whopping 2500 runners from all over England took part in the qualifying round, all keen to get moving and test themselves – even if only virtually.
The Hastings AC team making it as the 35th fastest team overall out of 128 club teams is a huge achievement, considering how difficult things are at the moment for athletes everywhere.

Club President Steve Roberts has been instrumental in helping guide the club over the past 12 months.
Roberts’ debut performance for the club was in 1971 and he went on to compete in track and field right up until 2009.
He is one of nine trustees for the charity, all of whom have been involved with the club in various ways over the years and all of whom are delighted with the new status being confirmed.
