Medals galore at Sussex Squids gala
Twenty members of the Dolphins and Starfish squads made their journey to Bognor Regis well worthwhile, as everyone achieved at least one personal best time (PB).
Top medal winners were Fabienne Andre, Kali Holder and Richard Sambrook who each gained five individual medals and showed dramatic improvement in the 3x75m Individual Medley. Kali was justly rewarded with the Junior Girls trophy.

Hide AdImpressive PBs led to four gold medals for Kieren Stevens and three for Hannah Szczepanski, while in the fastest heats, Alex Carr gained four medals, including gold for his excellent breaststroke.
The youngest swimmers achieved huge PBs leading to various medals for Christopher Lovejoy, Bill Fowler, Daniel Telling and Alfie Penfold. Newcomers George Snashall and Tom Giles also gained outstanding PBs and medals.
Committed swimming from Reece Meyer, Samantha Swindell, Tyler Clifton, David Fawdrey and Peter McCleery led to good PBs and three or four medals each. Steven Wade also received a medal for improvement and even the most senior swimmers improved, resulting in medals for Pat Hough and Stephen Bayliss.
The enjoyable evening concluded with another clutch of medals in the relays and the team was thrilled to receive the overall Top Team trophy.
