Horsham Joggers dominate Alf Shrubb race
The hilly five-mile cross-country course was dominated by 15 Horsham Joggers, four of whom came second, third, fourth and fifth.
Just a week after beating him decisively at Barns Green, Neil Boniface conceded first place to James Baker for the first time this season, finishing 29 seconds behind in 26mins 51secs.

Hide AdGareth Leighton finished third in 29.27, Pete O’Connell was fourth in 31.07, and Steve Wigmore fifth in 31.20.
Pete and Steve won the prizes for first and second Vet Man 50 respectively, in faster times than the first Vet Man 40.
John Willcox was first Slinfold man home and second Vet Man 40 (33.34), with Val Purnell winning the prizes for both third female runner overall and third female Vet 50 (37.35) - proving the race to be of remarkable triumphs for the over-50s of both sexes over their younger rivals.
The other nine Horsham Joggers also impressed with their times on the demanding terrain.
