Harriers retain Fun Run League title
Harriers lifted the title in Maureen Lewis’ final year as team manager and club chairman Gavin Stephens said: “It’s the end of another successful year for the West Sussex Fun Run League, and again the Harriers green vests have consistently been out in force at various locations around the county.
“With several new members coming into the club, the fun run events always provide a friendly social atmosphere for runners of all ages and abilities to score points for the club.

The excellent team spirit and club camaraderie was evident as Harriers’ members showed their appreciation to Lewis after the final race of the season, the Steepdown Challenge, which was hosted by Lancing Eagles.
Darren Lodge was welcomed as her replacement and will commence his new role with the Hangover 5m race in January.
The Steepdown Challenge, named because it includes several hill climbs, was won by the large Harriers team, who included both senior and junior members.
