Gratton Ladies beat Langney Sports
Grattons Top Rink was Dee Sharman, Carol Spenceley, Sylvia Brinkley and Pam Cannon.
The next day they played a Match in the Sussex County League against Worthing I.B.C. It was a hard fought game, with several very close rinks, but the result was a very good win for Grattons by 115-82.This result means that Grattons Ladies Team continue to be second in the top County league. Captain Sue said “The bowlers on every rink had played well, but special congratulations to Pam Cannon who skipped the Top Rink for the second day running. Sandra Wickham-Eades, Maureen Cranfield and Shirley Robinson were the other Top Rink players-Well done!”

Hide AdThe mixed team played a match against Chessington Bowls Club winning by 121 to 110. Captain Kim said “It had been a good afternoon, the scores had been very close throughout. It had been a lovely friendly game and everybody had thoroughly enjoyed it.” The top rink bowlers (pictured) were Derick Offer (skip), John Hadley, Gordon Hall and Elizabeth Robinson, they won by an amazing 37 to 10!
