Golden girl Maddie named Goalkeeper of the Year
The 28-year-old saved four penalties as Great Britain beat the Netherlands in a shootout to win Olympic gold in Rio and is currently in India at the National FIH awards (Federation International Hockey) where she was given the award.
The West Chiltington hockey star will also be at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday February 28 to receive her MBE.
