Roffey Robins Atletico and TD Shipley share spoils in entertaining encounter
Both teams had periods of domination, with Atletico initially in the ascendance, before it was Shipley’s turn.
It was during this period that Shipley took the lead, pouncing in a loose ball to open the scoring.
Atletico responded well, with some impressive forward play.

Hide AdAnderson pushed forward on the left wing to create numerous openings.
Byrne performed similarly on the right, with Clifford and Harris dominating the midfield.
Clifford in particular caught the eye with the regular defender impressing in his first display in midfield.
It was Clifford and Anderson who combined for the Atletico equaliser. Clifford played a neat pass to Anderson, who scored his first of the season with a well placed strike.

Hide AdAtletico quickly took the lead with a Gulliver goal, he received the ball, unmarked, outside the penalty area and slotted the ball past the keeper’s right hand.
Atletico’s third goal came from Harris who powered a shot into the net, after being found, again, by Clifford.
Atletico made some changes at half time, and looked comfortable for the next 15 minutes.
Shipley started to come into the game though, hitting the crossbar, and soon after Atletico were rescued with an Morgan goal-line clearance.

Hide AdAtletico continued to create chances, with Harris, Byrne and Davidson all going close.
Shipley scored two quick goals to draw level before an exciting last few minutes as both teams pushed forward to try and nick the winner.
Manager Ricardo Moratalla said “Today was an opportunity for the team to try some new things and I am pleased at how we performed against a very technical Shipley side.
"At times we created many chances, although I was particularly pleased with my defenders, Morgan, Dann and Ledingham who worked as a trio for the first time this season and all showed off their abilities.”
