Newell: '˜We will be given a reprieve to continue to play in the Premier Division'

The club’s chairman spoke to Hillians TV after the team’s 0-0 draw with Tonbridge Angels, which saw them finish in the bottom four.
But at the beginning of this season, Farnborough were given a mandatory relegation through financial irregularities and the ruling of the FA was that if they finished in the bottom four of this division they would go down two leagues and if they finished outside of the bottom four they would go down one league.

Hide AdNewell said: “We will be in a relegation position until the AGM of the league and then we will be given a reprieve to continue to play in the Premier Division.”
