Bognor Regis Town FC bosses say they are thrilled to have struck a deal with Specsavers to become the Isthmian premier division club's main sponsor for the new season.

Jonathan West, who is the retail director at the Specsavers branches in London Road (Bognor town centre) and within Sainsbury's Bognor, placed the winning bid for the right to carry the business's branding on the Nye Camp outfit's home and away shirts. It comes after the sponsorship opportunity arose following the sponsors' draw last week in which the Rocks' supporters club won the main prize then donated it back to the club to auction.

Jonathan bid the most on behalf of Specsavers -- who will continue to sponsor man-of-the-match and player of the month awards -- by Tuesday's deadline with a healthy interest from other local firms, too.

Rocks secure another trio.
