Haywards Heath Town cannot wait to return to action
The Blues have not been in competitive action since their 4-1 win at Horsham YMCA in the Sussex Senior Cup on December 15.
Heath sat third from bottom in Isthmian South East last season after seven games but the 2020-21 campaign was curtailed in February.

He said: “Quite simply, I cannot wait for football back at Hanbury.
“We have a real feel-good factor about the place that was cut short at the worst time for us last season.
“We have been very busy behind the scenes and the position of the club on all aspects has raised significantly which we hope will bear fruit on the pitch.

The Blues have performed admirably in Isthmian South East since their promotion from the Southern Combination Football League in 2018.
Heath were play-off semi-finalist in their first season in the division before they recorded a 12th place finish in the curtailed 2019-20 campaign.
Isherwood would not be drawn on setting targets for the upcoming campaign but revealed Heath’s prospective signings would indicate their ambitions for next season.

“I am not going to publicly set targets but myself, Shaun (Saunders, Blues boss), Nick (Collyer, first team coach) and the management team are all ambitious, competitive and on the same wavelength.”
Isherwood also confirmed that no Heath players had officially signed on for 2021-22, but he expected the majority of the squad to commit.
He said: “We are unable to officially submit player registrations until July 1 but we will be retaining 90 per cent of the squad we finished very strongly with last season along with adding around three or four new faces.”
