Haywards Heath College teams up with local football club
Ben will take up the post in April, ahead of the college’s opening in September.
The new college academy will give students the opportunity to develop their talent on the pitch, while also receiving a high-quality education.

Hide AdThe partnership with Haywards Heath Town FC will also provide college players a pathway and opportunities to progress into semi-professional football.
Ben Frier, Vice Principal at Haywards Heath College, said: “We are delighted to be working with our local football club to provide fantastic opportunities for our students.
“Working with our community is a priority for us, and it’s great to be opening in September with the football club already supporting the college.
“We want to provide students with the best opportunities to develop their personal, social, educational and sporting skills.

Mick Cottingham, Chairman of Haywards Heath Town FC, added: “The club is very much a community club, and now the town has a college once again – with a new football academy – it will be fantastic to offer young people in the area the opportunity to play at Hanbury Stadium for their college.
“Hopefully, some of them will have the opportunity to also play for the Heath at some point.”
