Golds one win from lifting league title
Golds, who are top on goal difference, just need to match Dorking Wanderers’ result on the final day to be crowned champions. However, they will win the title for the second time in their history if they beat Newhaven on Saturday (3pm), as their goal difference is 20 superior than Dorking’s.
Wanderers enjoyed a 6-0 win over Hailsham on Saturday and travel to Arundel for their final game this Saturday.

Hide AdLittlehampton boss Mark Bennett was relieved to pick up a 3-0 win at Broadbridge Heath but knows the job is not yet done.
He said: “It was not our best performance of the season but we needed to win and did that.
“We knew it was not going to be easy and we had never won there before, so it was a massive result for us.
“The job for us now is to win on the final day of the season and then we know we will be crowned champions.

Darren Boswell nearly fired Golds ahead on 11 minutes. Dan Attwater’s back header failed to reach Heath keeper Elliott Flack but Boswell saw his lobbed attempt clawed off-the-line by the retreating goalkeeper.
The visitors were awarded a penalty after George Landais was brought down in the penalty area by Attwater in an off-the-ball incident on 30 minutes. Landais stepped up and slammed home the resulting spot-kick to put his side ahead.
Golds had to wait until 12 minutes after the break to score their second. Liam Humphreys’ strike was parried by Elliott Flack and Joe Shelley netted the rebound.
