From the Back Pages, Tuesday April 9 - Gareth Bale to go to Real Madrid?
ROBERTO Mancini vowed Manchester City can reclaim the Premier League title after a Sergio Aguero wondergoal clinched the derby at Old Trafford... albeit next season. Aguero came off the bench to score a magnificent solo goal in the 78th minute in a 2-1 win that trims Manchester United’s lead over City to 12 points with seven games to go. Despite the win at Old Trafford, Mancini - whose men won the title from eight points back with six to play a year ago - maintained the title race is over, but said City can be crowned champions again in 2013-14 and will NEVER trail United by such a huge margin again. JERMAINE JENAS insists he will not quit QPR — even if they go down. Rangers are seven points from Premier League safety with six games left. The Hoops look doomed to life in the Championship having thrown away a vital win against fellow strugglers Wigan on Sunday who levelled in injury time. Manager Harry Redknapp has already said he will stay at Loftus Road if his team are relegated. (The Sun)
