Sergio Torres hopes Crawley Town reunion is not too happy
The popular Argentinian was a mainstay for Crawley during their two promotion campaigns and is best remembered for scoring the last minute winner to knock Robbie Savage’s Derby Championship side out of the FA Cup in 2011, But as part of a massive overhaul of the squad, he left the club last summer to play for his adopted hometown club.
And he reckons the Conference South side can cause an upset against the League 1 visitors.

Hide AdTorres said: “We are fourth in the league and are playing some good football. I hope to win.
“Crawley won’t like coming here as at this stage of the season the pitch is not very good. They won’t send their first team while we will put out our strongest side.”
But he says it is not as bad as Eastbourne Borough manager Tommy Widdrington made out after a Boxing Day defeat when he said Whitehawk’s changing rooms has rats as big as cats.
“In six months here I haven’t seen a single rat!
“At Whitehawk I’ve enjoyed playing every game, something I’ve missed during the last couple of years at Crawley.”
