Former Arsenal player Conor Henderson signs new contract at Crawley Town

The former Arsenal and Hull City midfielder joined Reds last June but his first season with Crawley Town was badly affected by an ankle injury which he
suffered in January and restricted him to 23 appearances in league and cup.

Hide AdHe also scored two goals, including the winner against Walsall last October.
The 23-year-old said: “I had a very good meeting with the new manager (Mark Yates) and I’m pleased to have signed my new contract.
“It gives me the opportunity to hit the ground running in pre-season and hopefully impress the manager enough to get another one.
“It’s been a frustrating few months with the injury but I am 100% fit now and have done a couple of sessions with (new physio) Paul Wilson to test the
ankle out and it’s fine.

Hide Ad“I can’t wait for July 1 and the start of pre-season and hopefully I can kick on from there and show the manager and the fans what I can bring.”
Mark Yates said: “This is a fresh start for Conor. I have been him quite a few times and I know he has a lot of ability and he has the chance now to show
what he’s about. I’m looking forward to working with him.”
