Crawley in ‘advanced talks’ with midfielder and turn down £400,000 bid for defender
Confirming the news on Twitter, chairman Dave Pottinger (@crawleychairman) tweeted: “Crawley in advanced talks with versatile midfielder.”
It is thought Reds are looking for cover in central midfield, especially defensively with Dannie Bulman out for some time having fractured his cheekbone.

The Wales Under-21 international has been a first-team regular since joining from Swansea City on a free in 2012 and signed a new contract in the summer.
Reds manager John Gregory also considers him a vital part of the club’s future.
Mr Pottinger Tweeted: “Today the Board turned down a bid of £400,000 for Joe Walsh. The offer is way under his valuation. Joe Walsh is a big part of our plans.”

“No we haven’t made a bid for this player. We also don’t have £350,000 to spend,” he tweeted this morning, while also adding that Reds had a bid of £75,000 for a player in the south turned down.
