"They’re [Brighton] playing really well, they’ve just got to find a way of hitting the back of the net," the former England Newcastle United and Tottenham man said.
"Some selfish play at times from Maupay, I think he could play in a few more people."
The result saw Brighton extended their unbeaten run to six matches in the league, the Seagulls best run in the top flight since 1981.
