Graham Potter has let players go – Jayson Molumby, Viktor Gyokeres, Bernando and Mat Ryan have departed on loan, while Warren O’Hara joined MK Dons permanently.
In terms of incomings, the Seagulls will be hoping to get Moises Caicedo over the line following encouraging reports last week.
But asides from that, it hasn’t exactly been a window to get excited about, though Brighton fans aren’t alone in that sense.
Here, we take a look at every player to be linked with a move to Brighton in January ahead of the final few days of the window market:
1. Ryan Christie

2. Rabbi Matondo

3. Jesse Lingard
Lingard was briefly linked with a return to the Amex Stadium earlier in the month but the England midfielder is off to West Ham for the remainder of the season after falling out-of-favour at Manchester United. Photo: OLI SCARFF
4. Sergio Romero
Romero has been told he can leave Manchester United and reports in Spain earlier this week suggested Brighton was the Argentine’s most likely destination. Albion, however, are well stocked in the goalkeeping department. Photo: SASCHA STEINBACH
