With the Seagulls' safety confirmed for another season, they can play with a real freedom for their final three games of the season, and will be looking to leapfrog the likes of Burnley and Southampton with a couple of wins before the campaign draws to a close later this month.
Speaking on talkSPORT yesterday morning, Seagulls boss Graham Potter was again tipped for the vacant Spurs job, with former Tottenham player Jamie O'Hara revealing: “My wish list has actually changed. Before I was thinking, ‘Who do we go to from Jose Mourinho? We should be going for like an Antonio Conte or a Brendan Rodgers' but I think we need to be realistic.
“We’re pretending we’re a big club and we’re not. We don’t win anything. We need to go and find someone a bit like Pochettino when he first came in.
“Genuinely, I’ve warmed to the idea – and the more I watch him the more I like him – of getting Graham Potter. I think he would be good for the club. His philosophy is great. The way they create chances, the way they want to play. I would love someone like that to come in.”
