South Africa star Jacques Rudolph led the way with 169 not out from 150 balls - the highest one-day score of his career and the best for Glamorgan in List A cricket - while Murray Goodwin made 59 from 32 deliveries against his former county.
Finch told BBC Sussex: “I’m a bit shellshocked. It hasn’t sunk in and I don’t think it will until the morning. I was pleased to get a game having been 12th man all season. It was really nice to get out there and show what I can do.
“I love batting with Wrighty - he makes the game a lot clearer and a lot more fun, and he is a fantastic player as his form suggests.
