County glory for under-13's
The girls were in fine form, playing some attacking hockey, scoring plenty of goals and defending with strength and determination.
In the group stage the girls beat Skippers Hill 3-0, St Bede's B 4-0 and Moira House 4-1. They lost 4-1 to the St Andrew's A team but finished in second place in their group to advance to the semi finals.

Hide AdHere they played the winner of the other section, Windlesham House. The girls rose to the challenge and really dug deep to come out with an excellent win by 2 goals to 0 to book a place in the final.
In the final, both teams showed fatigue and with the score locked at 1-1, St Andrew's scored in the final minute of the match to win by 2 goals to 1. The girls finished a very creditable second place and now go on to represent Sussex at the South Round of the Mini Hockey Championships, to be held at Woking Hockey Club later next month.
