Baker chased all the way to the line and was just three seconds back in 15.48.

They both have a second-place finish that would count towards the series as things stand, so it is all to play for in the final race on Wednesday, August 26.
City of Portsmouth youngster Lachlan Wellington, 14, who has been seen in Chichester’s Corporate Challenge series, delivered the performance his coach Vince Stamp had predicted he would. He crowned his 5k debut with a third-place finish and a time of 15.51.
That meant he knocked 20 seconds off the best road 5k time in Britain in the under-15 age group. He’s currently second in Britain over the 3,000m on the track.
