The Sussex Grand Prix race is a fast, flat, out and back course from Hove Lawns to Shoreham Power Station and the warm evening and light winds meant that personal best times were up for grabs.
Ever present amongst the top runners in the county, Kim Lo was fifth lady home in 39:48. First Harrier in 33:54 was Glen Driver who was a brilliant ninth overall in a field of top talent.

Hide AdDriver was pleased with his performance: “I set out to run sub-34 minutes. I found the first 5km tough - my legs felt sluggish and I was a little concerned at halfway that I’d miss out. At the turning point, things seemed to improve and I was able to maintain my pace and sneak under my target time.”
Also in the top 30 and with some excellent performances were Phil Hardaway (35:02) and Rob Watts (35:20).
