Young artist has 'great flair'
A BARCOMBE Primary School pupil has been praised by her teachers for holding her own in an art exhibition despite being the youngest exhibitor.
Eight-year-old Bea Hemmings proudly displayed her work alongside much more experienced artist as part of the annual Lewes Artwave Festival.
Bea submitted a chalk drawing of a local coastal scene as well as a piece of pottery which was displayed in an open house in Sun Street, Lewes.

Hide AdBarcombe Primary School art teacher Penny Edwards said Bea was a blossoming talent.
'Bea has always been artistic and she is really coming on showing a great flair for it and huge talent.
'She has always had the talent I just help her along.'
