Worthing man on Come Dine With Me special
The first of its kind, the high-pressure cooking tournament will see 12 of the most stand-out finalists over the last ten years compete for the overall crown.
Also, to add a little spice, the show’s quick-witted narrator Dave Lamb will be stepping in front of the camera for the very first time.

Brendan first appeared on the show on March 17 last year, and after a 12-hour shoot in his Eriswell Road home, he walked away with the £1,000 cash prize.
“They contacted over 200 winners from previous shows over the last ten years,” said the 46-year-old.
In the last week, contestants have put their culinary skills to the test in hopes they will make it to Friday’s final.
But there is a twist...

Not only that, the cooks will have to serve their dishes to Dave and Michelin star chef Glynn Parnell for critique.
The Brighton hotel manager said: “It was awful. I found it really difficult. I went in with my three-course menu and in ten minutes it was changed.”
Tonight’s episode was filmed in a country house in Sheffield with a butler on hand.

Hide AdBrendan has been a fan of the show since it started back in 2006 and decided to give it a whirl last year.
He said: “I had a casting interview and they came to my house in Worthing.
“They filmed me at the butchers and fishmongers because I wanted to get everything local but they didn’t show that part.
“It’s so much pressure and so intense. In my kitchen I had five crew members and they get a 12-hour filming day into one hour of TV.”
