Worthing A extend lead with win over Pavilion
Pavilion’s 30-game unbeaten run had ended the previous week, when they went down 89-58 at Bognor without picking up a point.
Worthing inflicted a second successive whitewash defeat on Pavilion as they moved 12 points clear of Southbourne, who are now second, while Chichester A also moved above Pavilion, who have dropped to fourth.

Hide AdMalcolm Palmer took the top-rink honours for Worthing, with a 32-10 victory, while John Schools (34-15), Graham Ives (33-12) and Chris Young (23-13) were also victorious.
Worthing face another top-of-the-table clash on Saturday, when they entertain Southbourne.
Pavilion B team’s rink of Paul Wilson, Roger Burgess, Bill Simmons and Howard Gates scored a five on the last end to secure an overall 76-76 draw at home to Chichester, also in Division 1 on Thursday.
There was not so much success for Worthing’s B team on Saturday as they picked up just one point in a 82-76 reverse at Witterings.
Ted Poole drew 18-18 but Ron Damp (18-19), Joe Summers (25-27) and Trevor Gordine (15-18) all lost.
