Warning over mini-motos
POLICE warn mini-motorbike owners not to ride them on the road.
Wealden police say there have been a number of reports of these bikes being ridden on highways and other public areas.
A spokesman said: 'These machines are considered to be mechanically propelled vehicles and fall within road traffic law.

Hide Ad'People using them here could be prosecuted for flouting laws to do with driving licences, insurance and other regulations to do with motorbikes.
'As well as this we have powers under the Crime and Disorder Act to seize these machines in any way that could be considered to cause harassment, alarm or distress.'
