Hide AdTracy Taylor-Beck, head of day services, said: 'We want to encourage more people to use the centre and make its services more accessible to the older population of Bognor.
"The refurbishment has been a success with even more members coming through the doors, but our team of volunteers is now struggling to cope with the increased numbers."
The centre provides a subsidised two-course daily meal, as well as snacks and refreshments.
Tracy said: "Now the days are getting colder, and Christmas is on its way, we expect to see even more people coming through the doors to enjoy a hot meal and some activities out of the cold.
