Isabella told the County Times that Roald Dahl’s Matilda is her favourite book and she loves Matilda the Musical, which she has seen three times.
The contest called for her to add a new character for Matilda’s first day at school.
True to Roald Dahl’s storytelling style, the scene shows the newcomer Felicity innocently provoking the dreadful Miss Trunchbull into being the agent of her own undoing.

“She spent a lot of time planning and working out her storyline and even more time deciding on a name for her character.”
The Royal Shakespeare Company received more than 200 entries from across the UK, with show creators Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin helping to choose the final shortlist.
