VIDEO: Bus left teetering on a hill after Angmering crash
The bus, which ferries customers from across Bognor, Littlehampton and Worthing areas, was travelling along the A280 Angmering bypass this afternoon (Wednesday, July 16) when it was involved in a crash with a white car.
The vehicle is believed to be the Holmbush Express shoppers’ bus, which is operated by Worthing-based transport service Compass Travel.

An eye witness said the vehicles had ‘ploughed through a hedge’ on the top of the embankment following the collision, which was just before the Water Lane junction, northbound.
He said: “I was driving along the road and I had to do a double-take. I was quite surprised.”
The front driver’s side of the bus has been damaged.
It travelled up the embankment, smashed through a hedge and is now partially in a field.
