VIDEO: Body found in water off Worthing
Shoreham lifeboat crews were called to the area, about half-a-mile west of the pier at about 12.30pm yesterday (Sunday, March 25), after reports of a man floating in the water.
A spokeswoman for Shoreham RNLI said: “They launched and found two jet skiers with the body of a man aged in his 60s in the water.

Hide Ad“He was recovered by the crew before being transferred to the all-weather lifeboat and taken back to the lifeboat station. The body was then transferred to the police and coroner’s officer who were waiting at the boathouse.”
Sussex Police believe there are no suspicious circumstances, and no one has been arrested.
