UPDATE: Man in hospital after Selsey caravan fire
The blaze could be seen for miles around and firefighters were alerted at 9.15am today (April 20).
The fire was so fierce it also damaged its neighbouring caravan, described by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service as ‘ten-per-cent damaged by fire’.

Hide AdFirefighters rescued one man and he has been taken to hospital – his condition is currently unknown.
Three other people were given oxygen.
Two gas cylinders had to be removed from the caravan to a place of safety.
Three fire engines rushed to the scene and successfully extinguished the fire just before 11am.
There were still a number of firefighters and police on site at 11.30am as the cause of the fire was investigated.
