UPDATE: Exam candidates relocated due to chemical '˜hazard' at Chichester school

Bishop Luffa School said it was pleased to accomodate ‘a number of Sixth Form students’ due to take the iGCSE English exam at Chichester High School, which is closed due to a potentially hazardous chemical found on site yesterday.
Headteacher of Bishop Luffa, Mr Nick Taunt said the school’s own science lab had not been found to have any of the 2,4-DNHP chemical widely used for A level studies.

Hide AdThe powdered substance has since been removed from Chichester High School and destroyed in a controlled explosion on West Wittering beach.
Chichester High School is expected to reopen tomorrow.
A spokesperson for West Sussex County Council said the council was not aware of any other schools affected at this stage.
