Unhappy New Year For Club
That s the stark warning from organiser Mel Shaw, who said the club, which meets at the Old Sompting School in Loose Lane, desperately needed volunteers and equipment if it was to stay open.
She added that the club, which started just before Christmas, needed volunteers to help with the 20 to 30 children who regularly turned up.

Hide AdMrs Shaw said: "We thought we d all be there and three kids would turn up. It s not that way at all. We ve got 45 to 50 members and, if they all turn up, it would be a bit of a problem.
"The whole idea of the youth club was because we were getting a lot of kids around the Sompting area. We thought if we could get them along and involved, then maybe they could go on to the Boundstone Club.
"It works to everyones benefit if they are not walking the streets. We ve got to be there all the time if it is to take off."
She added that the club also needed equipment such as table football, pool tables and Playstations.
