CHURCH SERVICES: In St Mary’s this Sunday Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8am. At 11.15am the monthly Family Service for All will be followed by refreshments in the Hall.
TEA PARTY: Also this Sunday, from 3 till 5pm, there will be a Tea Party in the Hall, an afternoon of fun, quizzes and raffles. Free entrance, with opportunities to make donations to the four missionary charities supported by the Brede and Udimore Overseas Group. Hide AdHARVEST LUNCH: If you don’t want to miss the Udimore Harvest lunch next Sunday, October 18, at 1pm in the Hall and don’t yet have tickets, Ann Barker will be delighted to oblige. Her number is 01424 883515. They’re a bargain at £8.50 (5-14 year-olds £5, under 5s free). There won’t be a bar, so you’ll need to bring along your own drinks.
JUMBLE SALE: Please remember to look out suitable items for sale in the Hall on Saturday morning, October 24. They can be left at the Hall the previous afternoon, or collected from your home if need be. To arrange this, please contact Nan (01424 882348).
SPECTACLES FOUND: Doug Turner has found a pair of metal-framed spectacles, marked “international eye wear”, on the public footpath along the southern bank of the Brede. If you think they might be yours, please ring him on 01424 882506.
