Triangle pool reopens after £600,000 facelift
The improvement works, a partnership between Mid Sussex District Council and Places for People Leisure, follows on from refurbishment of the gym, new studio and Costa cafe and member change areas, as well as the introduction of a popular new climbing facility.
Sports and service manager Neil Williams said: "Initial feedback has been positive, with the new interactive features being a big hit with families and young children.

Works started on the leisure pool at the beginning of June and have resulted in the transformation of the beach area to include new interactive water features, tip and spill buckets and water channels, removal of the falling rapids flume ready for new slide installation in autumn.
Additional works such as the installation of traffic light sensors on the flumes will 'improve safety and control access' and there has been a substantial replacement of tiles surrounding the pool, with a newer, safer, non-slip tile.
A proportion of the project involved remedial works of the existing pool and slides which included re-lining of the flumes, restoration of the flume tower, step replacements, repair and re-painting of steelworks and works on the drainage channels.

"We want The Triangle to remain at the forefront of leisure activities and offer our customers the best experience when they come to the centre, the recent works will ensure we can do that."
