Amberley crash victim named
Cecelia Hearn, aged 68, of Hurst Cottages, East Street, Amberley, was sadly pronounced dead around 5pm after her silver Ford Fiesta collided with a blue SAAB.
Mrs Hearn’s 69-year-old passenger, also from Amberley, was seriously injured in the crash and is recovering in the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.

Hide AdA 44-year-old woman from Tangmere, who was a passenger in the SAAB, was taken to Worthing Hospital with an ankle injury and serious bruising, but has now been released.
The driver of the Saab, a 40-year-old man from Guildford, along with a 69-year-old woman from South Africa - also a passenger - were treated at Worthing Hospital for minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Keston.
