Tess rewarded for bravery after savage attack
A DOG savagely attacked by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers has received a bravery award from the veterinary clinic that treated its injuries.
Ten-year-old Labrador Tess required 45 stitches after it was set upon while being walked along The Avenue, in Durrington, last October.
Maria Hayward, 37, of Rochester Close, Durrington, was walking Tess while taking her nine-year-old son Ethan to school when the attack happened.

Hide AdHer husband Martin, 42, said: “Tess had a Staffie either side of her neck ripping her to pieces in front of my son. The only way they could get them to release was to whack them with my son’s metal scooter.
