Strikes have ‘minimal impact’ on council services
TODAY’S strikes have had a ‘minimal impact’ on West Sussex County Council’s services, according to a council spokesman.
There are seven picket lines at county council buildings in West Sussex, including Centenary House, in Durrington and Glebelands, in Shoreham.
Fifty-nine schools have been reported to the authority as either closed, or partially closed.

Hide AdFirefighters remain on strike until 7pm this evening. Contingency measures are in place but the public are advised to take extra care.
