Hide AdIan Garrard 53, of Grenville Avenue, Worthing, complained after a new street light was installed in close proximity to his bedroom window.
He said: “I complained and was told there was nothing they could do. I was fuming, as it was ridiculous.
“When I told them I had contacted The Herald, I had an engineer visit and he agreed to move it.”
He added: “The light had not gone live yet but it was right outside the bedroom window.
“Common sense says don’t put it outside someone’s bedroom window.”
