Members were also informed that the monthly raffle in aid of charities had raised more than 600 in the preceeding year.
The club's committee has divided the proceeds equally between the Chestnut Tree House children's hospice and St Wilfrid's Hospice.

Hide AdThe meeting saw Tom Gillespie elected as the club's chairman, with Kevin Trotman chosen as the vice-chairman.
Chris Dawes and Allen Paine were re-elected as the treasurer and secretary. The rest of last year's committee was all re-elected.
At the club's regular monthly meeting in November, club auctioneer Brian Sharpe and his helpers presided over the latest lively auction. Plenty of stamp material changed hands between the keen buyers.
The club's next meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 9, at 7.30pm at the United Reformed Church Hall in Linden Road. The rest of the year sees it meet there on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
