Spring clean for Bognor seaside
The 12 individuals collected 17 black bin bags of rubbish in just two hours of scouring the foreshore.
Their collection of debris included the usual suspects of cigarette packets, crisp packets, empty cans, broken and intact glass containers and pieces of fishing gear.

Hide AdA rusty watch and a few sanitary towels were also among the never-ending tide of debris which scars the foreshore.
Emma said: "I care about the beach. I live opposite it and it's like my front garden.
"I use the beach, I swim in the sea and my friends come down and use it as well.
"I want to make sure the wildlife in and out of water is safe as well. Some fish will mistake an empty crisp packet for food and choke on it and die."

Hide AdIn spite of the number of black bags filled, she said the volunteers quickly covered their area between the pier and the Marine Drive West beach huts cafe.
