SPECIAL DAY ON CHAILEY COMMON
The day, which is open to all, and suitable for all ages will have lots of different events on offer including:
The Working Horses Trust will be putting on a display of their bracken crushing work, carried out during the previous week

Static Marquee with displays of the history of the society's flora and fauna preservation work, and the continued biodiversity research and recording
Access to focus groups within the society and associate groups who specialise in the monitoring and development of flora and fauna
Bat and bird boxes
Children's games with the Chailey Commons Ranger
An introduction to the footpaths and pleasure walks that are open to everyone and available throughout the year
A visit to Chailey windmill between 11am and 2pm

Hide AdNorman Baker MP along with many District Councillors and invited guests will be attending at various times throughout the day to show their support of the work of the Chailey Commons Society on this 40th Anniversary of Local Nature Reserves.
The exhibition is an open day to display and showcase the varied works of the Commons Society as well as an opportunity for people to enjoy and learn more about nature reserves and the environment.
