Sleep out raises £42,000 to help young homeless people
One of five Sleep Easy events was held in the grounds of Brighton Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College (BHASVIC) for the YMCA DownsLink Group.
In Brighton 44 people took part, and across the region 200 people took part at five locations.

Hide AdThose taking part settled down under cardboard for the night, to raise awareness and funds for the YMCA’s work with young people.
So far £42,000 has been raised.
Among them was Anna who also slept out last year, and said it was 'an eye-opening night into the hardships and vulnerability of sleeping outside'.
Chas Walker, YMCA DLG’s CEO, said, “This will make a huge difference to the young people we work with.
"We are very grateful to all those who slept outside on March 22 to support us.
