School youngsters raise funds to help others less fortunate
Children at Southway Junior School in Burgess Hill raised more than £600 to help youngsters less fortunate than themselves.
They joined staff in “Pudsey’s Pyjama Party” as they helped the nationwide Children in Need fund-raiser highlighted on BBC television to raise millions of pounds.
The children hosted a best dressed teddy competition, created a copper coil trail, ran a cake sale, and held a sponsored silence during the day.
