Safer clubbing campaign grows
A large number Worthing councillors have pledged support for the Remember Hayley-Come Home Safe campaign.
Hayley Owen died, aged just 22 years, last December on Drayton level crossing after a night's clubbing at Thursday's near Chichester. Her family and friends of Hayley Owen are lobbying police and the council to have the night bus back. to support the re-introduction of the Worthing Night Bus, initially for the Christmas period.

Hide AdThe night bus scheme was a key part of a vision for a safer town, while at the same time promoting a vibrant night time economy.
Lib Dem Group Leader Cllr Bob Smytherman said: "We fully support the taxi marshall scheme that has been set up ,however this does not solve the problem of lack of transport.With the extention of late night drinking coming in to force it is essential that customers can get home safely."
