Rogate traffic calming still has county council support

But with the help of new highways officers the ‘shared space’ scheme moved forward again with cost compromises to improve safety for pedestrians crossing the busy A272.

Hide AdHowever, with little action in the last few months parish councillor Fiona Dix asked county local committee chairman Michael Brown for assurances it still had support.
He told her the highways cabinet member had agreed the study would be implemented as and when funds were available: “We are still committed to this project.”
