ELECTION 2015: Horsham - Roger Arthur (UKIP)
I have held senior positions in large international companies, at home and abroad, leading large projects and teams, involving high risk and substantial budgets.
I became a Horsham District Councillor in 2007, a Cabinet Member in 2009 and then Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance.

Hide AdAfter Cameron’s move to the PC centre, I joined UKIP in 2013, before being selected as Parliamentary Candidate for Horsham.
I had lost faith in politicians who seem to put their political careers before the interests of the people. By contrast, I shall listen to and work tirelessly for, the people of Horsham.
I want integrity and transparency brought back into politics, with experienced leaders who have risen due to their ability & conviction, regardless of class or gender.
I want to drive out red tape, waste and arbitrary targets, using the proceeds to help restore essential services.

Hide AdI want our youngsters to have education & training fit for the future and our entrepreneurs to have the freedom and incentive to innovate.
I want the capability of our Armed Forces to be restored, with a rational foreign policy.
I also want more locally accessible NHS facilities and for local democracy to work again - avoiding indiscriminate building on our green fields.
Most of all I want to pass on a democratic and sovereign country to the next generation.
