Traffic lights set to go up at Seaford bridge

Mrs Caulfield said: “Local residents know how much the traffic lights really make a difference when they are in place. This is why local Conservatives and I have been calling for this to be done.
“With the plans for a new Exceat Bridge with the South Downs National Park we are close to getting a new bridge, but until this can be built traffic lights will be a big help for residents.”

Hide AdPrevious lights had been in place at the bridge for Eastbourne air shows and during road works in Alfriston, and were a success.
Mrs Caulfield said a decision will be made to install lights at a cabinet meeting in a couple of weeks.
